Beans are a nutrition powerhouse - packed with fibre, protein, and so many vitamins and minerals! They are a perfect food to fuel your family. Most kids don't naturally reach for this superfood, so we put them in a healthy snack that tastes delicious - it's a win-win!

Our beans are soaked for at least 12 hours, pressure-cooked, and rinsed thoroughly prior to being used in our batter. This process eliminates 80-90% of the oligosaccharides (the non-digestible fermentable fibres that cause gas). What's left are gentle prebiotic fibres that actually help feed the good bacteria in your gut, so you get all the nutrition of beans without the gas!

As we currently sweeten our snacks with a touch of organic honey, they are not considered vegan. However, our snacks do not contain meat, eggs, or dairy.

Not all oils are created equal! This is why we specifically choose to use organic, expeller-pressed, high-oleic sunflower oil in our Mini Waffle Crisps. This makes our sunflower oil very distinct from conventional sunflower/seed oils. 1. Since we use an expeller-pressed sunflower oil, our oil is made by manually pressing the seeds, and not with any chemical solvents. 2. Since we use a high-oleic sunflower oil, our oil is naturally high in monounsaturated fats (the same heart-healthy fats that are found in olive oil) and low in omega-6 fats (the kind we get too much of in the Western diet and so may contribute to inflammation) than conventional seed oils.
Expeller-pressed high-oleic sunflower oil offers several health benefits: improving heart health, providing immunity benefits, and supporting healthy skin and eyes. This is just one of the reasons we are so proud of our nutrition and why you can feel great about serving (and eating) these snacks!
